The FINALE 4H endurance race at Worldkarts Kortrijk (Kortrijk, 850 m circuit) took place on 6 September 2026, bringing together 15 teams over 250 minutes of racing. At the end of an intense and closely fought event, it was BEL-AMIS PRO (kart #7) who crossed the line first with 170 laps completed, taking victory by a margin of one lap over the rest of the field.

STS Racing (kart #10) secured second place with 145 laps, finishing 17.799 seconds behind on corrected time, while KARTSKINS (kart #31) rounded out the podium in third with 155 laps and a gap of 25.975 seconds. Fourth went to STS – IRT (kart #4, 150 laps, +27.803 s), and fifth to BOW RACING (kart #19, 151 laps, one lap down). INFINITY RACING TEAM (kart #25) finished sixth with 154 laps, 15.594 seconds ahead of DUWA RACING (kart #30, 7th, 159 laps). Jeda Racing (kart #29) came home eighth with 151 laps, followed by BOW RACING 2 (kart #26, 9th, 169 laps) and Three are legends (kart #20, 10th, 160 laps). The absolute fastest lap of the race was set by KARTSKINS with a time of 1:14.671. All teams completed their 8 pit stops, with the exception of LD PHOTOGRAPHY (kart #27, 11th) who made 9.

The pure pace analysis reveals a striking gap between on-track speed and final classification. LD PHOTOGRAPHY (kart #22) posted the best median race pace of the entire field at 1:15.398 — ranking first in pure rhythm — yet finished only 9th. Their six stints were consistently stable (overall standard deviation: 0.67 s), demonstrating exemplary regularity across 162 laps, but their result did not reflect that speed in the standings.

In contrast, STS – IRT achieved the 2nd best pure pace (median 1:15.447, σ 0.74 s) and converted it into a solid 4th place finish, their final stint producing a median of 1:14.848 — their sharpest of the race. Race winner BEL-AMIS PRO (kart #7) displayed a 3rd best pace (median 1:15.686, σ 0.76 s), with six stable stints and no significant degradation throughout the race. Their consistency over 170 laps, including a brisk final stint at a median of 1:15.222, proved decisive.

BOW RACING stood out as the most consistent team of the race, with the lowest standard deviation of all finishers at just 0.61 s across 151 laps and five stints — every single one rated stable — reflecting exemplary pace management. INFINITY RACING TEAM produced one of the most notable strategic performances: despite ranking only 14th in pure race pace (median 1:16.177, σ 1.30 s), they finished 6th, making the most of their race management to gain positions over faster rivals.

KARTSKINS, while setting the absolute fastest lap of the race (1:14.671) in their final stint, ranked 10th in pure pace overall with a median of 1:16.031, illustrating how a single flying lap does not necessarily reflect a team's sustained rhythm. DUWA RACING showed marked variability in their opening stint (σ 1.41 s, median 1:18.042) before settling into a much stronger rhythm in subsequent stints, including a 4th-stint median of 1:14.965.

Key takeaways for teams: At Worldkarts Kortrijk, raw speed alone is not enough — LD PHOTOGRAPHY demonstrated this perfectly by leading in pure pace yet finishing 9th.
