The Finale of the Lignano Circuit FPV endurance race took place on 27 September 2026 in Precenicco, on the 1,187-metre Lignano layout, over 147 minutes. Fifteen teams lined up on the grid for what proved to be an extremely tight battle at the front of the field.

INFINITY (kart #4) took the chequered flag after completing 124 laps, holding off PFV (#13) by a razor-thin margin of just 0.099 seconds at the line — one of the closest finishes of the season. PKI (#3) completed the podium, also on 124 laps but 0.619 s adrift. The top three were separated by less than two-thirds of a second after 147 minutes of racing, underlining the intensity of this final. Fourth place went to R.A.V. Racing Team (#11, 122 laps) and fifth to LUBING ITALIA (#7, 121 laps).

The fastest lap of the entire race was set by the winning team: INFINITY clocked a 1:02.296, the benchmark time of the event.

Digging into the pace analysis, the picture is more nuanced than the finishing order suggests. LUBING ITALIA posted the best pure pace of the race, with a median lap time of 1:02.915 — faster than any other team over the course of the event. Yet they finished only fifth. Their rhythm was undermined at the end of two stints, where they lost up to 0.33 s per lap compared to their opening pace, and their pit-stop strategy (6 stops) cost them time against the frontrunners on 5 stops.

INFINITY's winning package combined the 2nd-best pure pace (median 1:02.980) with excellent regularity (standard deviation 0.7 s) across six stints, five of which were rated as stable. Only their fifth stint showed a slight slowdown of 0.23 s per lap. PFV matched INFINITY almost identically in pace (median 1:02.987, 3rd best) and consistency (σ 0.69 s), with a very similar stint structure — but the winning margin of 0.099 s ultimately separated them.

PKI (3rd overall, 4th in pure pace at 1:03.049) demonstrated solid race management with six stints, four of them fully stable, though both final stints showed a degradation of 0.22–0.25 s per lap. R.A.V. Racing Team stood out as the most consistent team of the race, recording the lowest standard deviation of all: just 0.63 s. Their median pace was 1:03.358 (7th in pure pace), but their remarkable regularity across six stints — all rated stable — earned them 4th place.

Further down the order, SKART WORKING FASTER (7th, kart #14) produced a notable result relative to their pure pace ranked only 11th — a sign of effective strategy and consistent stints. At the other end of the spectrum, BRG (15th) carried the 6th-best pure pace but finished last, weighed down by 7 pit stops and a significant drop-off of 0.34 s per lap in their sixth stint — the steepest degradation recorded in this analysis.

Key takeaways for teams: At Lignano Circuit FPV, raw pace alone does not decide endurance finals. INFINITY's victory was built on a combination of near-top pace, the fewest pit stops (5), and exemplary consistency.
