The 61-minute Endurance Final at Le Mans Karting International – Alain Prost (Piste Alain Prost B, 980 m) on 6 August 2026 brought together 30 teams for a demanding race that rewarded pace and consistency in equal measure. At the end of 54 laps of combat, it was KRUSTEAM (kart #18) that took the chequered flag, edging LES LAPINS (kart #2) by just 0.636 seconds and FAST AND FURIOUS (kart #6) by 5.400 seconds.

The podium battle was intense throughout the field. L&P (kart #30) finished fourth, 9.997 seconds off the lead, followed by LES FRERES BONNEAU (kart #8) at 17.175 s and VICKSTAPPEN RACING TEAM (kart #23) at 19.113 s. RKT COMPETITION, ALPINE RACING KARTING 1 and GRAPHI RACING 2 completed the top nine, all on 54 laps. Fourteen teams in total finished on the lead lap, underlining the closeness of this Final.

The absolute fastest lap of the race was set by L&P in 59.232 s — a benchmark none of the other 29 teams could match across the entire 61 minutes.

Pace analysis: KRUSTEAM's double dominance. The winner also posted the strongest median race pace, at 1:00.278 (1st in pure pace), and was the most consistent team of the day with a lap-time standard deviation of just 0.51 s. Running a single stint with no pit stop, KRUSTEAM maintained a stable rhythm from start to finish — the kind of regularity that is almost impossible to attack over a long race distance.

FAST AND FURIOUS (3rd on the road) recorded the 2nd-best median pace at 1:00.547 and a remarkable standard deviation of 0.54 s, yet finished behind LES LAPINS (4th in pure pace, 1:00.594) due to the fine margins of a race decided by less than six seconds across the top three. L&P, despite holding the outright lap record, ranked 3rd in median pace (1:00.585), illustrating that raw speed alone does not decide an endurance race. GRAPHI RACING 2 (5th in pure pace, 1:00.690) finished 9th on the road, leaving some pace on the table in terms of final position.

Strategy watch: TM RACING provided the sharpest strategic lesson of the Final: ranked only 20th in pure pace, the team climbed to 14th on the road — a gain of six positions through clean, consistent execution. At the other end of the spectrum, LES BEAU'F (29th on the road) ranked 24th in pure pace, meaning the gap between potential and result was not fully bridged on this occasion.

Key takeaways for teams: With no pit stops recorded across the field, tyre and kart management over a single uninterrupted stint was the defining factor. KRUSTEAM's combination of the best median pace and the tightest consistency proved unbeatable.
