The 93-minute endurance race held on 15 September 2026 at the Actua Circuit de Lyon (Saint-Laurent-de-Mure, Competition Track – 1,250 m) brought together 15 teams for a demanding test of pace, consistency and pit-stop strategy. All 15 starters completed the race, and the top four teams finished on the same lap count.

VAL'AIR CLIM (kart #8) took the victory with 74 laps completed, edging out MCR DECOUPE BETON (#6) by 7.257 seconds at the flag. HYSTIA (#16) completed the podium, 28.262 seconds behind the winner, while LMAC/LMVS (#14) finished fourth, one full lap behind on time. MSI (#7, 73 laps) and PREF'ISOL (#12, 72 laps) rounded out the top six. All nine pit stops were recorded for 14 of the 15 teams; GEDIMAT (#15) made ten stops and finished last with 65 laps.

The fastest lap of the race was set by MCR DECOUPE BETON with a 1:06.214, the sharpest single lap of the afternoon. Yet raw speed alone was not enough to convert into a win.

Diving into the race analysis, the picture is nuanced. MCR DECOUPE BETON posted the best pure pace of any team, with a median race lap of 1:07.015 (1st in pace ranking), but their three-stint strategy — including a slower middle stint at 1:08.369 — introduced variability (σ = 0.94 s) that cost them on the road. VAL'AIR CLIM, by contrast, was the most consistent team in the field (σ = 0.68 s), ranking 2nd in pure pace at 1:07.502. Their seven stints were remarkably stable, with only their third stint dipping to 1:08.820 before the team regrouped. That blend of solid median pace and low lap-time variation proved decisive.

HYSTIA (#16) held third place in the pace ranking (median 1:07.738) and matched their finishing position exactly, delivering a coherent race across eight stints. Their final stint of 16 laps at a median of 1:07.209 underlined good management of the closing phase.

MSI (#7) deserves attention: ranked 4th in pure pace (1:07.844 median), they finished 5th. Their opening stint was their fastest (median 1:07.055), but a mid-race drop to 1:09.520 and a consistency deficit (σ = 1.35 s) across 73 laps ultimately cost them a place higher.

Further down, BR PERFORMANCE (#2) is the clearest case of pace not reflected in results: 7th in pure pace (median 1:09.310) but classified 11th. High variability (σ = 2.09 s) and a difficult second stint at 1:13.109 severely penalised them. Conversely, MARTEL GROUPE B (#4) finished 9th despite ranking only 12th in pure pace, benefiting from strategic execution to gain three positions over their pace potential. The sharpest single-stint degradation of the race was recorded by MARTEL GROUPE A (#3) in their third relais, where pace dropped by 1.01 s per lap.

Key takeaways for teams: at the Actua Circuit de Lyon, consistency pays more than raw speed. VAL'AIR CLIM's victory demonstrates that minimising lap-time scatter across a long race — even with a slightly slower median pace than the race's quickest team — is the winning formula.
