Endurance Final – Lignano Circuit FPV, Precenicco (6 Sept. 2026)
Twenty teams took to the Lignano Circuit short (950 m) in Precenicco on 6 September 2026 for the Finale of the Lignano Circuit FPV endurance race. Fifty-seven minutes of racing produced a remarkably tight finish at the top of the order, with the lead group separated by barely five seconds after 86 laps.
ROCCO ANDREA (kart #20) claimed victory after 86 laps, crossing the line 3.805 seconds ahead of CAH RENDY (kart #9, also 86 laps) and 4.967 seconds ahead of GRASSOTTO MATTEO (kart #18, 86 laps). LO SARDO ANTONINO (kart #14) and BELLO' KRISTIAN (kart #3) completed the top five, both also on 86 laps and within 5.434 seconds of the winner. GEO ANDREA, ZACCARON ERIC and DALLA VAL ANDREA rounded out a leading pack of eight teams all finishing on 86 laps. Every finisher in the top 20 made 4 pit stops, with the exception of BERTINELLI MAURIZIO (19th) who made 5.
The fastest lap of the race was set by GRASSOTTO MATTEO (kart #18) with a time of 51.404 s.
Digging into the race analysis, CAH RENDY (kart #9) posted the best pure pace of the entire field, with a median race lap of 51.746 s, and also proved the most consistent driver of the event with a lap-time standard deviation of just 0.55 s. Despite those credentials, the team had to settle for 2nd place. BELLO' KRISTIAN (kart #3) was equally impressive: 2nd-best pure pace at 51.792 s median, yet classified 5th. Both teams finished behind winner ROCCO ANDREA, whose median pace ranked 3rd at 51.830 s — underlining how strategic execution across the 57 minutes ultimately determined the final order.
LO SARDO ANTONINO matched the winner's consistency (0.63 s standard deviation) and ranked 4th in pure pace at 51.840 s, translating that into 4th place — a well-balanced performance. DALLA VAL ANDREA (8th) was the only driver among the top eight to show a measurable pace drop in the closing stint, losing around 0.18 s per lap in the final relais, which may have contributed to the team not threatening the top seven.
Further down the order, SEMPLICI EMANUELE (11th in the results, 14th in pure pace at 52.466 s) outperformed their raw speed ranking by three positions, suggesting efficient pit-stop management. PEGORARO GIORGIO (12th) endured the sharpest pace drop of any analysed driver, losing 0.21 s per lap during the third stint, before recovering composure in the final run.
Key takeaways for teams: In a race this close at the front, pure pace is not enough on its own — ROCCO ANDREA won with only the 3rd-best median rhythm. Consistency over 57 minutes and clean pit-stop execution proved decisive. Teams targeting the podium should focus on minimising lap-time variance across all stints, as a standard deviation below 0.60 s clearly characterised the top finishers. Managing the final relais without pace degradation also appears essential on the Lignano Circuit short layout.
