The 24H Open de Lyon was held on 26 September 2026 at the Actua Circuit de Lyon in Saint-Laurent-de-Mure, on the 1,250-metre Competition track. Thirty teams lined up for this 178-minute endurance race, producing a tight and demanding contest from start to finish.

STF BY KARTCUP (kart #31) took the overall victory with 161 laps completed, edging out TEAM FDP (#16) by just 0.963 seconds at the flag — one of the closest finishes of the day. JD2R RACING TEAM (#4) rounded out the podium in third, one lap down at 160 laps, with a gap of 43.550 seconds to second place. Both the winner and the two podium finishers managed the race on a single pit stop, a strategic choice that proved decisive in the final standings.

RS EVOLUTION (#11) and TMSCK (#7) completed the top five, each covering 159 and 158 laps respectively, though both teams required three pit stops. SAUCIFLARD TEAM (#26) finished sixth with 158 laps and two passages through the pits, while SCK (#8) and BAG TEAM (#2) took seventh and eighth.

The fastest lap of the race was set by TEAM FDP in 1:04.725, the sharpest time of the entire event. Despite this outright speed, the team had to settle for second place overall.

Analysing the pure pace data, STF BY KARTCUP also led the field in terms of median race pace (1:05.609), confirming their dominance was no accident. Their two stints were remarkably consistent: a first relais of 73 laps at a median of 1:05.120 (σ = 0.23 s) and a second of 87 laps at 1:05.729 (σ = 0.25 s), both rated stable — a textbook display of endurance management. TEAM FDP matched them closely with a median of 1:05.629 and equally stable stints, their fastest lap ultimately not enough to make up the deficit.

TMSCK deserves special mention: ranked 4th in pure pace (median 1:05.700) despite finishing 5th, their four stints were all rated stable and their consistency across the race was impressive (σ = 0.45 s overall). KRT (#21) also showed strong raw pace — 6th fastest median (1:05.833) — yet finished only 9th, four pit stops weighing on their final tally.

At the other end of the strategy spectrum, ARTEAM (#22) stands out as the race's most notable performance gap: 9th in pure pace (median rhythm placing them well inside the top ten) but only 18th overall — the clearest example of stops and traffic costing dearly on the timesheet. Conversely, ALEANCE (#6) finished 20th despite a pure pace ranking of only 28th, making them the race's standout strategic overperformer.

In terms of raw regularity, ARTEAM recorded the lowest standard deviation of any team in the field (σ = 0.35 s), making them the most consistent runners of the day — a quality that could translate into a much better result in a future outing.
