GENERAL RULES FOR THE CHALLENGE KART'AIR
ORGANIZATION
The "CHALLENGE KART'the air" is a friendly competition karting leisure created by the association
KART'air and held since 2007 by Fun and Race.

APPLICATION

This regulation is specific to the challenge KART'air. Everything that is not authorised in the present regulations is prohibited. To engage in one of the races of the challenge KART'air implies to accept and implement in its entirety the regulation.

PARTICIPANTS AUTHORIZED

The Challenge KART'air is open to any driver that even amateur or wishing to discover the go-karting on a format of racing.Minimum Age 16 years of age, for participants with less than 18 years old on the day of the event, a parental consent will be requested. The teams will be composed of 2 to 5 drivers. The criteria for inclusion to qualify for podiums FUN and RACE will be defined by the end of the 1st round of the challenge and will be at the discretion of the organiser, until the morning of the race.
A driver is allowed to ride for 2 teams on a sleeve.
Individual registration, to supplement other teams, is possible.
The organiser reserves the right to refuse the nomination of a person or a team without having àen give the reasons.

THE TESTS

Racing type endurance team with relay driver and a period of free practice and qualifying sessions.
Program type for the majority of the innings in 2018 :

  • Host and draw the numbers of go-karting
  • Briefing and instructions of race
  • Distribution equipment (helmets and suits) and allocation of the karts
  • 30 minutes of free practice and timed
  • In place of the starting grid
  • Endurance races of varying lengths according to the dates with the numbers of relay imposed
  • Stop the kart and the output of the driver of the kart required
  • Podium, Prize-giving
  • Raffle gifts

CALENDAR and CIRCUITS

The challenge KART'air 2018 will take place over 8 rounds, each team is free to participate in 1, 2, 3, 4:

5 rounds or completeness of the challenge.

Round 1 : March 24, 2018, Circuit BELVAL, 4 different plots in 4-STROKE 270 cc optimized
Round 2 and 3 : April 14, 2018, at the RKC, normal direction and the reverse direction of the track 1200 m in 4-STROKE 390cc
Round 4 and 5 : May 26, 2018, DUNOIS KART, track, normal direction in a 4-stroke 390cc (nine-2018)
Round 6 : 16 September 2018, the KARTING BUFFO, long Track in 4-STROKE 270cc
Channel 7 and 8 : November 17, 2018, at the RKC, normal direction and reverse 4-STROKE 390 cc

AWARD POINTS (for team up to 20 1st and individual to the 3 1st)

In case of a tie in points at the end of the challenge, this is the number of 1st place which will be taken into account, then 2nd place, etc...

Fun&Race Challenge Kart Air Points

PARTICULAR POINTS

The first 5 teams from each heat will start from end of grid to the next round in the order reverse of their position. The points allocated to the first 5 are, therefore, more advantageous (ex : 10 points separate 1st and 6th). Out of a total of 8 races, the best 6 results will be retained to establish the final classification of the challenge KART'air 2018 teams not playing the general classification of the challenge KART'air (at the discretion of the organization) will not score points in the classification of the challenge KART'air (including the RKC for the final).

ENDOWMENTS and PRIZES

RIGHTS COMMITMENTS

Each team wishing to participate in one or several rounds, will pay the amount requested corresponding to each race and this was BEFORE the day of the race (otherwise, extra charge of 30 euros). The team will have the opportunity to engage race-by-race or for the entire challenge.

In case of withdrawal

  • Less than 1 week before the course : refund of 50% of the amounts
  • Less than 72 hours before the course : NO REFUND
  • Supplement of 30 € per team if payment on the day J

At any time of the season, Fun and Race, organiser of the challenge KART'air, may exclude any driver or any team whose attitude could damage the image or credibility of the CHALLENGE KART'air in particular, and karting in general.

CANCELLATION

If, for reasons of security, the direction of the circuit decided to stop the race before its end, the ranking will be established according to the decision (in agreement with, Fun and Race) and not be in any case questionable. The race is considered started, no amount of money will also be returned. If, for reasons independent of our will or an insufficient number of participants, the challenge KART'air 2018 was cancelled in the course of the year, the amounts paid on tests not conducted, would be fully refunded to participants.
